No Video after Windows Load Screen

At what point exactly do you lose the signal? Is this XP? Do you get the XP screen with blue sliding bars which pause then it blacks out?
Do you get a "No Signal Input" message?
Can you start in Safe Mode?

I lose the signal right after the XP screen with blue sliding bars. Then my monitor says "No Signal Input."
Safe Mode DOES work. Cool. Thanks. But now what do I do?

Under general circumstances I would say uninstall then reinstall your graphics card drivers.
Safe Mode is just loading basic Windows VGA drivers.
And yet I wonder why what you did would cause this to happen???
On one of my computers the same scenario transpires but after the "No Signal Input" the screen blacks out then comes back in two seconds and reloads the XP slider screen and boots into XP.
Now the curious thing here is this only started booting like this after I installed liquid cooling. In my BIOS POST I get an error that my CPU fan is disabled. As of course it is since I don't have one. In order to bypass this bother I set the BIOS Setup to ignore STOP errors.
I am just wondering about the possible connection with the fan setup and the BIOS Setup etc.
Does this give you any ideas?

wow, I think I may see where this is going but feel free to give your input. I know for a fact that my mobo has issues with AMD cooln' quiet as well as with the IQ that regulates the fan speed for a specific temp limitation. What im thinking about doing is possibility reinstalling the video drivers as well as flashing the bios. my Comp did preform a scan disk during one of the failed boot up attemps. The blue dialog window that comes with scan disk appeared right after the windows loading bars. Scan disk found several disk errors. This is definitely puzzling. I cant really thing of anything else hardware related that could have resulted in software issues......very strange indeed.
Thank You very much!

oh and here is my system:
AMD 3800(single core, not overclocked) Venice
Abit KN8 SLI mobo
1 gig of 3200 ram
MSI 6600GT video card (only one, im cheap
)
120 GIG samsung HD

Resetting the CMOS should have restored all BIOS Defaults but just in case I would undo what you did with the CPU temperature monitor .
Yet again the major Safe Mode differential is the limited drivers loaded.
Anyway I am off to my other world until tomorrow. Perhaps another member will have ideas in the mean time.

Ok so this is totally weird, but my computer seems to be working fine after installing the new video drivers. Im not going to flash the bios unless I need to. Thank You so MUCH Jephree I really appreciate it. I'll be checking back in tomorrow if anyone else has anything else to add, perhaps some reasoning behind this madness?
Thank You again
