the speed of my processor increase greatly wat can be the possible reason?

Have you made any changes to any Windows drivers, the machines bios, or installed any new software just prior to noticing the change in speed?

i did remove the whole processor to clean the dusts and after tat the processes fan start to move faster .i also install a new game need for speed carbon.

Well, cleaning the fan/heatsink assembly won't increase speed. This justs resolves heat issues, of which you don't appear to suffer from.

I'm not familiar with the game (I'm not a game player), so it may be possible the game "sensed" the hardware (if it's sophisticated enough) upon its installation and made some system adjustments.

A Google search turned up: http://forums.ea.com/mboards/categor...&categoryID=53, it however mentions XBox and PS2, which to my knowledge are ancillary/seperate systems. (Again, I'm not a gamer.)

Hopefully, someone else with gaming knowledge will jump in here with some info.

When you removed/replaced the processor did you clean the old and then apply new thermal compound?

i clean the same and place bak the same heatsink and the fan.

Did you use thermal compound?

It goes between the CPU and the heatsink.

i found out the prob le .. ther is some configuration prob at the cmos i change it to default and everything work well now ..ty for the help.
