I installed a wired BT Broadband connection following a long and painful experience trying to get Tiscali to reconnect me following a move of house. I connected through the BT Modem no problem.

However, I prefer to use my wireless Netgear Modem/Router which I have been using with no problems for 6 months or so at my previous house. Connecting via the Netgear was no problem then. BUT, most times I want to get back on line now my PC will not connect to the Netgear and I have to go through the windows wireless connection manager and then go through the advance settings option to allow the process of letting windows configure my wireless settings. I do this by checking the box and then clicking OK.

Sometimes when I want to go back on line my wireless connection conects automatically and other tmes it does not connect and I have to go through the process outlined above again. All I want is to get straight back on line without the aggro of having to recoonect through windows all the time.

Any ideas on how to achieve this?
