    USB to PS/2 Adapter

I've bought a new keyboard and it has ps2 plugs instead of usb. I'm trying to find an adapter locally but I've been online to **** Smith and Tandy and they don't list the item.
I know there are several models around. I could buy the Belkin at Officeworks but $35 seems pretty steep! Aus-based online stores offer adapters for $10-20 but then they slug you for the postage.
I might end up doing Amazon and buying something from the US, but I worry that the differences in voltage might make an American adaptor useless here.
    Can anyone help?

( **** Smith, for the uninformed, might also be known as Richard Smith. You've got to laugh!)

Richard Smith do have one listed for $22.99 http://www.dse.com.au/cgi-bin/dse.st...ct/View/XH4145
It is a dual one though for 2 ps2 devices. That wouldnt really matter though if theres a store close to you.

Thanks for the pointer, Tas, but I wonder why some adapters have a box in the middle and some don't.

I dont know why some do and some don't. I also cant figure out why these are so much more expensive than the other way round adaptors which cost about $3.

    Technology. Go figure.
I had to go to Officejerks for something else, so this morning I gritted my teeth and... in the end it came down to the choice between an overpriced item under a brand I trust, or a no-name cheapie.
