an it friend of mine built me a computer with an asus motherboard, model m2a-vm hdmi, socket am2. The problem i am having is that it hangs on standy by or hibernate, often with an accompanying blue screen: IRQL NOT LESS THAN EQUAL. Below is a line: ***STOP: 0X0000000A (0X00000000, 0X0000001C, 0X0000001,0X804FAD30) It also seems to have difficulty with a wireless driver for my dlink router. any help with how to diagnose and remedy this problem would be greatly appreciated

If you have a look on jephree's link you'll see that the second bugcheck parameter is the IRQL. If the crash is at a Windows system file then IRQL 1c is unlikely to fail unless it's a hardware error.
