I am having an issue with my ethernet port on my laptop. I have 2 PCs and I have no trouble with the modem or ethernet connection with either, But when I plug the ethernet into my laptop the PC light on the modem doesn't light up. Any suggestions?

How do I replace an ethernet port? I believe I have a dead one.
