Hi.

I have a monitor that when I press the power button to switch it off, it goes into, (what I think is) standby mode. If I keep pressing the power button to switch it on and off, after about 5 to 10 minute it will turn off.

Please, can someone help?

The monitor is a:-
MAKE - DGM
MODEL- L-1721 17" TFT LCD

Have you tried unplugging the transformer for a few minutes?

Is this a new problem? Do you get a No Signal Input when windows closes?

Does the LED go from green to amber?

What is the indication that it is "On"?

A. I have just tried this to no avail.

A I). No. I have had this problem since new. (About 2-3 wks). A II). Yes.

3) Q. Does the LED go from green to amber?

A. I have a blue LED. When the monitor is on I have a continuous blue LED. When in what I think is "standby mode" the LED goes on & off with 3 sec intervals.

4) Q. What is the indication that it is "On"?

A. As above.

I hope I have answered your questions adequately. If not, don't hesitate to ask more.

What annoys me most is that on the odd occasion it turns off on the first press of the button.
