Hi,

It all started when my external hard disk started giving me problems. It could not be accessed at all. When i click on the drive it said The disk structure is corrupted and unreadable. So i went to pull it out and plug it back in several times. Each time the error message is different. Sometimes its The disk structure is corrupted and unreadable while sometimes its This drive is not formated, do u want to format it now? Then all of a sudden when i plug it in and out for the upteenth time the drive could not be displayed at all. So i went and try plugging in my psp which works fine all the time and this time it said unknown usb plugged into port blah blah. then it suddenly says the device is installed properly and ready for use. So i went into My computer thinking it would be there and lo and behold i dont see my psp drive at all anyway.

pretty pissed off wanted to smash my cpu.

I had the same problem last week. Is it a Windows 98 PC?

did it come with any cd instalations at all .. you could have bad usb cables

I'm using windows xp.

Oh yea so when the error (the disk drive is not formated do you want to format it now) comes up again, I immediately did a quick reformat. After the quick reformatting, I could go into the disk drive. But when i used another computer it doesn't show up altogether again.
