hey i have recentley joined this site and wanted some help on a few computer and tv things ...... i have a old sylvania tv which only has the video and audio plugs there is nothing in the back of the tv besides the cable plug for the tv .... and i have a pretty sweet computer it is an ibm but it is all pipmed out its has a nivida 512mb geforce video card that is amazing and 1gb of ram ... but i still cant figure out why i cant hook my computer up to the tv ... if you can tell me how in basic steps please post

are the connectors on the TV phono/RCA type?
has your graphics card got TV out?

hoiw can u see if ur video card has tv out ... what cables?

i dont think i have those cables

you will be able to tell if there is a yellow socket that fits a cable simalar to the ones picture above nect to the vga socket on your video card.

also is there any plugs that i need in my tv becasue like i said before my tv is old and not very good so im not 100% sure

there should be 3 colourd plugs, white, red (audio) and yellow (video). if not then i cant see anyother way.

alright yeah i have those plugs so ... i most likely do that and i have the rca wires to hook up to th tv to computer

do u know what a svideo cable is ... could i possibly use that as well as a rca cable?
