I buy new asrock K7NF2-raid motherboard to my old pc.And computer is:asrock mobo,maxtor 120gb,7500rpm hdd,512mb ram 266mhz,asus geforce4200ti 8x agp,power source 450w,amd athlon xp 1900+ processor.So problem is: computer starts only when i disconnect my graphcard from agp slot.When i put it back to agp slot nothing happens,computer doesnt start at all..like there is no power.So do i have buy new graphcard??? Can anyone help me???

Do you have both the 20/24 pin main power plus the 4/8 pin 12V plugged in?

Have you checked that the card is seated properly? Does the card have a power connection?

Do you have another card to try or can you try this card in another computer? That would be the simplest way to determine if the card or the slot are bad.

allso check to make sure that the pins are clean.

NO! Don't do it! Aftershave contains oil based perfumes and all kinds of other stuff. If you want to clean the contacts, carefully install and remove the card (or connector) several times to scrape clean the contacts.
