My computer refuses to reconise the DVD writer as a writer. It will play DVDs etc. I changed it for a brand new one but still the problem exists. Anyone got any ideas, apart from a reboot?

Because that thing happen to me before...

Right Click Your DVD-RAM Drive (in My Computer) then press properties
and then press to Recording and then Check the Enable CD Recording on this Device.....

I wish that can help.....
