    Memory errors?

When I run certain programs (i.e...nero/call of duty2) when I close out of them I get a message telling me memory error at addy like 0x000000...something like that.

So, I burn the iso memory test to a bootable cd and inserted the disk and I let it run for like 8hrs (I had to run to town). When I got back home it was stil reading ramon addresses but, on the bottom of the screen it told me "memory test complete, no errors." Why was it still running tests on the top of the program if it was telling me test complete no errrors?

What I have in my system is 4gb of pc4200 533 ddr2. If you need to know.
    Thanks.

I don't mean to add or post more problems until I can figure out why I am getting memory errors but, few days ago I had "critical updates" to dl and I have "realtek HD Audio" and for some reason when I run the test in dxdiag for sound nothing come out of my speakers but when I plug in my headset I can hear it. Is this a different problem or does it have anything to do with my memory errors?

Your .dll error is addressed here:

    http://www.d-a-l.com/help/showthread.php?t=50636

MemTest should run until you stop it. Often intermediate steps are posted as completed with no errors.

Another possible source of your errors could be your Page File.

Page file is somewhat confusing to me. I currently have 4gb of Ram installed. What should be my min and max setting for page file?

About 2 weeks ago it was 2046/2092...then I changed to 5373/10746.

If you need more information let me know. Btw, thanks and I dl that patch for dll.
