Not everyone has the budget for a new PC, or priorities dictate money better spent elsewhere.

That sure is a great picture Dan, I am surprised it shows bare fingers handling the battery as that is not cool! As I mentioned above, skin oils are not good to have deposited on lithium batteries. Oh well.

He has the budjet to do so. But I will try the battery method if I get the chance when he gets the new pc. Because the broken one will be mine to play with. I mean to make it work properly again.
