There are minimal settings found via Control Panel > Sounds and Audio Devices > Voice
What is the make and model of the computer as well as the microphone device?

Try Belarc

What does Belarc say under Main Circuit Board?
You can also try CPU_Z
Under Mainboard > Manufacturer > Model
Or do you know the make and model of the motherboard?
I just wanted to look at the specs and manual to see it's limitations.
Chances are that you might need a PCI Sound Card to get the audio you desire. The on-board chips are often limited in what they can provide.

Ok I used CPU-Z The info you want is....
Manufacturer: http://www.abit.com.tw/
Model: KV7-V(VIA KT600-8237)
Chipset: VIA | KT600 | Rev. 80

I will look about and see if I can find something that might help.
Also another member might have a better idea from experience.
As your headset appears to be quite nice you might want to look into PCI Sound Cards for the best performance.
I will post back anything I find relevant.
