I have a toshiba A135-S4487 laptop with 2 gigs ram. Is there any other way to disable the ram so only 1 gig is availbable to the system other than physically removing it..TIA

I have seen server boards with this option in order to bypass faulty RAM but I doubt that any laptop has it.

According to the Toshiba Manual, it appears the only option is removal of the module.
