I found this post while looking for something else about the medion 2880 that I've got and I can shed some light on this.

I believe the motherboard was produced for Medion by Microstar and is very similar to a ms-6533eg/xg, which can be found here.

The agp slot is 4x. I've got a geforce fx 5200 (which runs up to 8x) in mine, but it obviously only runs at 4x.

If you need ram you can go up ddr333-pc 2700. There's 2 512MB slots, so that's a max of 1GB

I know from experience how hard it is to get info on this (all sites seem to be in German). Hope this helps you.

(now if only someone could tell me how to get both sides of the case off so I can install a dvd-writer? I'll start a post if necessary)
