Is monitor freeze a RAM problem?
Oftly soon I bought an Amilo L 7310G. It does this realy strange thing: every 30 mins or so (sometimes even befor loading the windows) , the monitor just freezes- no changes in the display, all the opened applications stay- it is just not functioning- nor the mouse, either the keyboard, only the CD ROM could be opened.
The ony thing that I can do is to leave it out with out power until it drops out of power.
Could anybody tell me what kind of problem this can be?

I dont think this is a problem with the monitor, but your actual computer. It could be caused by alot of things, RAM being one of them.
have you made any hardware changes recently?
does your laptop get hot?
how long have you had the laptop?
have you checked for dust?
does it work ok in safe mode?

thank you. after configuring the BIOS settings to the manufacturers defaults ones- the problem with monitor freeze no more occures, nor the system error messages.
