    pc reboots

    hi there i have been scratching in pc's for a while now i am sitting with a pc that reboots mostly while playing gamesi have replaced almost everything (ie,memory,psu,fans.drives,)i have reloaded a couple of times too but it still reboots pc consist of amd 3500+, gig ram, ati x6oo pci display ,mb is a cru51-m9 .the only components thats not changed is display card and mboard
    and if u guys or girls think its the display card i took it out and used onboard still reboots should i upgrade my bios or just upgrade my pc

    Hi, it could be a heat problem, have you checked the fans inside your pc?
    how many fans do you have?
    does it go off sudenly or say "windows is shutting down"?
    have you checked for dust inside the case? (as this can reduce airflow)

    sorry for all the questions, it just helps us pinpoint the problem

    i have three fans which i replaced and cleaned out my case it does not always reboot just when it feels like it oh one other thing i reinstalled a fresh copy of xp then installed deamon tools and it rebooted immedietly with no errors how strange is that

    click start>rt click on my computer click properties go to advanced under "startup and recovery", click settings

    in the system failure section, UN-tick the box that says automatically restart and tick the two above it...

    This should give you a BSOD the next time it goes off, jot down the process and error code (e.g. 0x000007E)
