i have problem that my motherboard(D845gvfn) supports 333 mhz and i wrongly bought 400 mhz (256mb ddr sd ram) is there any method so that it doesnot cause problems (pentium 4 2.4 ghz 533/333 bus speed)

It will either work or it won't. There is no harm in trying. Try it by itself at first.

If the BIOS POSTS it works. If you get no signal to the monitor then it doesn't.

You could also try it with your old stick together and that might lower the speed or it might not. All RAM will run at the lowest speed installed.

If it doesn't there is nothing you can do to make it work. I would think that you could return/ exchange it with the retailer for the proper speed.

The ram works but when i run windows memory diagnostic tool it says that your memory has hardware problems and contact manufacturer and i worried why it causes.

And also sometimes blue screen came while gaming etc

I am facing new problems now.. Blue screen comes very occasionaly. And some times it was about pagefiling or memory management or Winn32.sys writing on blue screen information
