I have a Sony DVD writer which until a couple of days ago was performing well. Now it will still pay DVDs but won't write. When a blank RW disc is inserted Explorer comes up with the message "D:\ is not accessible incorrect function". Yesterday I tried to write a movie previously transferred to my C: drive. Nero Recode according to it, completed this successfully but the disc would not play and after a long wait Explorer requested the insertion of a disc, presuming the drive empty. I wonder if the drive has had it or whether it's a software problem. I'd be grateful if you could tell me how to proceed.
