Well, here goes. Network card (broadcom 570X Gigabit controller) keeps getting dumped. It will not be found after booting up, or it boots up and gets dumped while using or after using computer and unplugging cable it will know longer be recognized when trying to reconnect. Sometimes it will just stops working and I have to do an uninstall and reinstall or it just disappears, not even appearing in device manager. Rebooting usually brings it back but occassionally it doesn't and after being shut down for a period of time it will reappear on reboot. This is a reoccuring problem as the card has been replaced and XP Pro has been reinstalled. This may be related, another problem is sometimes the laptop will not power up, I have to unplug the power cord and take out the battery then after reinstalling the battery it will startup. Your help will be greatly appreciated, Rick!!!!!!!

Do you have the same problems when using the AC adapter?

If so how about if you remove the battery and then use the AC adapter?

Yes to the Question if the problem occurs while using the AC adaptor. The laptop is at work so I will have to get back to you after trying it after removing the battery. Thanks
