    That is a nice motherboard. Is it new? Has it ever worked OK?

    wow thanks i will check that over in the morning if im good enuf lol.....erm the noise....u mean the one it made every so often when the pc froze? it was like a high pitch whine coming thorugh my speakers, had to power down and start up again and it was fine....it did this every so often but now obviously the problem is worse and it wont boot at all lol

    yes ive had the mobo for about 9 months now and it has worked fine

    still nothing .....i have no idea what it could be....do you think it might be the gfx card? or do you think my mobo is fried

    i checked the mobo the green light was on....no red light as i only have 1 gfx card, i also reset the CMOS as explained above but to no affect
