    Help! Broken clip!

    Hi.
    I bought a socket 939 MOBO off ebay (Gigabyte GA-K8N Ultra-9).
When I came o instal the CPU (Athlon 64 3500+) i noticed one of the seating clips on the Mobo was broken so I cannot seat the heatsink and fan
I know - I was stupid buying off ebay. I don't expect I'll get my cah back so I was wondering if there is a way around it. Can you buy these seating brackets? (is that what they are called?)
    Any help gratefully recieved.

It is hard to see from the manual just what this clip looks like.

Does the heatsink/fan screw into/thru the board or are there actual clips on the board?

There is a plastic "seat" which the heatsink sits on. Either side there are three clips. The heatsink that came with the CPU locates on the middle clip on both sides. It is the clip on the "lever" side" that has snapped off.
Been doing some research. The "Artic cooling Freezer 64 Pro" seems to locate on all 6 clips rather than just two. Could this work?

    Sounds like it would.

Or else you could try to rig a modified clip. Hard to say when I can't see it but perhaps there is some kind of bridge you could rig from the outside clips or perhaps use a screw to replace the clip etc,
