First off, I'm brand new here.....so I apologize in advance for my ignorance.

I thought I may be able to get some help here from some knowlegable sources.

How do I start. My problem is, I have no connection to the internet from my main desktop computer.

Yes, my bill is paid. I have a router to which 3 other computers in the house are using. They are all working fine except for the main computer!
The message I get is "no server found". I've checked all the equipment, cords etc. and everything is connected properly. I've even taken apart the tower, cleaned out the dust, looked for loose connections to no avail. No matter what I try it just doesn't work.

One person I know suggested that a "card" (not sure what kind) is not showing.

Please advise, I'm getting desperate. The desktop is a Dell.

It's a Dell? no wonder...
How exactly is the dell connected at the moment? Unless it is serving the internet for the router and in turn the other pc's.
