I'm running a rig equipped with an ASUS P5DN2-SLI mobo, 2Gb of DDR2 RAM, the Pentium D 820 processor and a XFX 7600GT GPU and it worked fine for about two months but last week while playing THQ's Company of Heroes my computer froze and then rebooted. Now my rig will not boot up as long as my GPU is installed. There are also vertical white lines on my screen regardless of an installed GPU.

I've tried re-installing the GPU in Window's Safe mode but my computer will just reach the "Window's XP Loading" screen before my monitor shows a "No signal output" and goes black. What should I do?

Updating your drivers may isolate some variables. Try that.
