    iTunes Wrecks Lives! :(

    Hi Guys,

Not sure if this is right forum, but gotta start somewhere.

In the busy-ness b4 xmas, downloaded and installed itunes 7 (the new one). Since then all sound and audio 'play' functions are knackered. There are also a number of other symptoms that have appeared since then. My computer is definately running slower - takes ages to boot up. All Office type packages seem to work fine, it's just that all my music software seems to crash. Some, like Reason cant even get going, others like Wavelab crash when you try to play something. Only windows media player doesnt crash, but you get no sound.

I have completely unistalled itunes. No effect. I have even tried system restore, prior to the installation - no effect.

My main sound card is an external Focusrite Saphire, firewire device. I havn't yet re-installed those drivers as the problem seems to persist when i switch back in internal sound card (Realtech HD soundcard).

I would be mega happy to have some help resolving this!

    Regards

    JJ
