hi, i recently bought a soundblaster audigy SE 7.1 OEM PCI card. ive installed it and it works fine, however, my subwoofer speaker wont work.

ive searched the internet for ages to try and find a solution for this problem but ive had no luck.

i also know that other people have had the same problem as me but they dont leave the solution on the forums

here are my system specs:

pentium d 2.66ghz dual core
1gb ddr ram
geforce 7600gs 512ddr AGP
soundblaster audigy SE PCI
asus P5PE800-VM motherboard socket LGA775
500watt psu

I had this problem with my 5.1 card. It was down to the sound card software - namely the sound manager and its configuration, check the settings in there (should be an icon near your clock on the taskbar) - there should be a test option, where you click and it plays a sound from each speaker to see which work and which don't.
Otherwise try and find a different sound manager that is compatible with your card - this is what I had to do and it fixed my problem.
Also double-check that all the cables are in all the right places (connecting speakers to sound card).
