Can someone tell me how can i have the internet on 2 computers?

the easiest way is to get a router.

who supplies your internet?

are the machines in the same room?

I have the web on two seperate computers, my wife's is upstairs and mine in the (so called?) computer room downstairs.

I use a Netgear Wireless Router and there are no problems, providing your supplier lets you have multiple sign-on names. I am with AOL and I think, but am not certain, that about five different persons can have log-on names.
