I have just installed more RAM on HP Pavilion a310uk. Initially it worked (kind of) but now PC will not start at all, just the green LED on back of machine flashes. Have tried swapping over the 2 RAM cards and removing the new one but no success

what did you mean by "Kind of"? are both of your RAM cards same in speed and frequency?

Thanks for reply Kaistar. Ram had not installed fully for some reason but has now done so. Problem with not starting seems to be mor elke a loose connection as sometimes it will start and sometimes not. Ifyou move the wiring loom it comes to life, but not always

Sounds like you just need to unplug everything, check that you don't have a dust build-up in any of the connectors and then re-connect everything firmly.
