after doing this i rebooted and now my desktop is completely black and white have no color at all. The boot screen that has the window logo and the little bar under it is all still colored but desktop amd internet everything is black and white. display is set on 32 bit color so i have no clue what is going on if anyone could help that would be great thanks so much! oh i forgot it was the nividia nov 2 update

Did you uninstall the previous driver?

"Download Accelerator" utilities should be disabled when downloading any drivers.


Do not run virus protection software in the background while installing the drivers. This prevents the driver from configuring itself properly.


Before installing new drivers make sure you uninstall all NVIDIA display drivers from the Windows Control Panel. Browse to the Start Menu > Windows Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs and search for "NVIDIA Windows Display Drivers" or "NVIDIA Display Drivers" and select remove.

If not I would uninstall all Nvidia and then try to reinstall.

hmm btws what card are u using? and have you tried doing a driver rollback?

thanks for the info its a 5200 um i was reading somwhere that its is possible something to do with it being connected to my tv that is making it black and white.
