A very detailed utility here under utilities: Everest:

    http://www.oldversion.com/

    Or Belarc:

Or if you just want your graphics go to start Run... dxdiag | Display

thx so much...i think it was NVIDIA Vanta......that IS a video card right? i know i sound stupid, lol, but i hope this fixes my problem....which is, i got this new game and is says that i don't meet the requirments, which is video memory (which i am trying to update my video card anyways) and i was wondering if i had to buy new video memory or if i can just update it?

Nvidia is a major manufacturer of Video (Graphics) cards: yes. Also motherboard chipsets (which yours' appears to be).

If your current card lacks memory then you need a new card. This is not upgradeable otherwise.

Just a quick look shows the Vanta as an old on-board (integrated) chip with only 16MB memory. Most new cards are either 128MB or 256MB.

You need to ID your motherboard to find out which type of card the motherboard will support.

The motherboard can be identified with either Everest (Motherboard) or Belarc (Main Circuit Board).

ok, so i figured out it is a DMI.....i ran across an upgrade, but it says MSI, so no then? also is there a way i can make it work WITHOUT having to buy a new one right now....or at least make the video card a little better? what i'm saying is i used to be able to play videos and shows from websites but now it doesn't let me....

Your current graphics are running on the motherboard. You have no card.

There is nothing to upgrade without getting a card. Sorry

    No problem.

If you post your computer specs we could offer some advice on your options to upgrade.

With Belarc copy and paste everything between Operating System and Virus Protection
