Hi, well ive run into a problem....if u look at the pics. The last pic in photobucket is how i originally connected the Drive....The disc drive would open but thats about it...Now when i connected the plug that you told me to, see photos, two green lights on the adapter glow but the disc drive does not open up and still the hardware is no where to be found...Im not sure how to connnect all three, but, there is a sata plug that is spare i think i took a photo of it..??????????ps. the sata connecter part is tha black one, i might have been too close up for you to see in the first and second photos

You need both those power lines connected.

The drives needs power as well as the adapter.

Any ideas how to connect them both????(stab in the dark)

If you do not have a spare connector (molex) you would need to get a "Y" splitter.

Found in any electronics store for a couple of dollars.
