I have no idea how to do that and I don't have a adapter to link them up.
Would you recommend me trying a program like that to do it?
If you want to try an adapter is about $10 and the process is easy. We can help you thru it if you want.
Otherwise you do not need to buy a program and you do not need that one you mentioned.

As to hard drive diagnostic's and format tools I see that Toshiba does not have their own but I read that almost any other will work on Toshiba drives:

I see these two as the most recommended. The second is a diagnostic as well as a formatting tool whereas the first is simply a drive wiper. In either case you would need to download the ISO version and then burn the ISO to a CD as you do not have a floppy drive. If you need info on ISO burning just ask.
