Computer fan constantly running
Can you tell me why the fans constantly runs? I did a scan over at PC Pitstop and it said "This system had a CPU load of 100 percent during testing." I wasn't running anything but the scan. I checked my task manager processes and of course, I don't know what I'm looking for
but it seemed that there were too many processes running. I run virus and spyware programs regularly, and of course I run a my virus protection in the background. Any thoughts?
P.S. I cleaned my PC about 2-3 months ago by removing the case and using canned air to clear out the dust, and I vacumn the back about once a week.

the fan on the CPU will maybe running all the time to keep the chip cool.
have you tried looking at what the CPU uses when you're not running any scan?.
If I run spybot mine's running nearly 100%

If your CPU is always running at 100%, it will be getting VERY hot so the fans will need to keep running. Initially, it sounds like a virus or spyware problem ..... but you are taking sensible precautions to keep yourself protected so we'll assume that that's not the cause of the problem (initially). So it must be a faulty application that's taking all the processor resources.
Go back into Task Manager, select the Processes tab and check to see if there is a process running at 100% or nearly 100%. Watch it for about 30 seconds to make sure that it's a consistent problem. Tip: Clicking on the CPU heading to sort the list into order of highest CPU usage will stop the list moving around so that it's hard to read.
