I had left my laptop on and I came back to it and it was off, when i turned it back on it came up with a message:

Boot Device

Hard disk drive
CD-ROM/DVD
Floppy disk drive
Lan Boot

One of the options above it anything. So i tried pressing Esc and nothing happened, then i tried ctrl+alt+delete and it restarted which didn't help. Then i tried turning off and one and nothing and lastly turning off taking out the battery and replacing it and turing it back on again and it still does not work!

Please Help it has my GCSE essay on it and i need to hand it in on Monday.

are you running on battery or A/C?

have you tried any of the options?

I am running on battery. I have tried all the options but none of them do anything. My friend told me to try the windows discs but they only way that would help would be to install windows again but that would mean i would lose my work.

you could try a repair instalation of windows
