Hi

My PC recently developed a problem of not powering on when I press the power switch on the front. When I press the switch the power comes on temporarily but as soon as I let go of the switch the power goes off again. This is an intermittent fault, sometimes I'll try and it will come on as normal, other times not. I thought maybe the switch was faulty and not staying on, so I bought a new case as I couldn't find a replacement switch, rebuilt and guess what, the problem remains!

I don't really know what to try next - PSU, could it the motherboard or something else?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
