Hiya

I've just had a new pc built for me, and I have been given a set of Neutac 5.1 Speakers with the computer. My sound card is installed and as far as I can see the speakers are all set up right, but I still don't get any sound. Do I need to install the speakers as such, as there is no CD with them? Or am I missing something really obvious? When you try to play some music, it just plays (according to what's on the screen) but no sound comes out of the speakers.

Anyone got any bright ideas?

do the speakers have a power supply?

are they connected to the correct socket on the sound card, is the volume muted?
