hi.i have a winxp pro os and i have got some old cds with photos of my kids on from when i had windows me.but it wont let me view them.i was wondering if theres any way i can correct this? any help would be appriciated.

right click on the cd drive and click open, right click on one of the picture files and click properties, what does it say next to type of file?

if it is a slideshow, do the same but right click the slideshow.

no they are coming up as read only files.i was wondeering if it was because the file systems are different on windows xp and milennium edition.if thats the case is there a way about this like with software.

sorry i should say they are coming up as jpeg but i tried changing the name to.bmp and it says do u want to change this read only file.
