    Network Hard Drive

I bought a new 200 GB hard drive and an external enclosure. I want to be able to acess the drive from both of my computers without slowing down the other. I was thinking about adding it into my network as a stand alone drive. Would a printer usb to network adapter work or is it not that easy? Also would a printer swicth work? If not what would work? Thanks

you will need to get a network drive enclosure, then you put the drive in it as this contains the nic and control board .. then you can access the HDD as a network drive. Its alot of work and money for something that doesn't need to be done im affraid .. just put the drive into your fastest pc and share it. quick solution : )
but maybe not the best for your needs,

    hope this helps !
