Hi guys,

This is something I've never got my head around and I need someone to educate me

What's the difference between DVD+R and DVD-R? I appreciate that some drives only record one type of DVD disc but, if you have a drive that can record both types, which one would you choose? Is there any reason why one type is better than the other?

I'm under the impression that all new DVDR and DVDRW drives record both the plus and minus standard. Is that right?
