Hi Guys,
When trying to start a game the other day, a message came up saying “ Your CPU speed has been detected as approx 0.01 GHZ. Min for this game is , 1.0 GHZ.
I cannot understand this, as I am running a Cel Intel 2.4 CPU. 6800 FX Nvidia Graphics. 1 Gig of RAM.
I only have Zone Alarm and AVG anti vir running at the time.

Any ideas please.

It is called Joint Operations, and I play it quite often. I do play it on line.

until the other day all was fine, can you try Ctrl Alt Del, and see what's running and using the resources?

I ran through the process and found I was using 34. The largest were the folowing ;

what is the percentage being used?

According to the Task Manager, it is using between 2 and 7 %.

is the processor getting warm?

have you tried the game again?

I tried the game, and although it works ok, I find my Pings are not good. This I think , maybe the ISP . Saying that, I am supposed to be on 10 MB with my Server. Not sure if the Processor is getting warm or not ?.

the problem may be to do with ther ISP are you on ADSL?


it may have something to do with the contention ratio
