    Should I change printers?

    HI all.

At present I have a "Epson stylus D88" which was given as a Christmas present. The only ink that I can get locally is a complete set of black and colour plus some photo paper which cost £25.

I was wondering if it would be more viable to buy a diferent printer with cheaper ink carteridges.

If this is the case, which printer would you recomend. Bearing in mind it will be used for printing photographs, woodwork plans, text, and graphics. Basically everything. The cheaper the beter, as I am being suported by my wife.

Any help or advise would be greatly apreaciated.

I have always used compatible ink and never had a problem with it. Tonezone is where I got my last lot of ink from.
