    Pc shutdowns and can't open

For the past couple of weeks my PC has been crashing like if I was having power shortage (which isin't the case). It usually happens when I play video game and it is totally random, it can happen while im loading windows or 30 min after I started my computer(and playing games). After the computer shuts down, I have trouble to start it again. When I press on my power button I can get lucky and start the computer on the first try but it can sometime take 5 minutes of constant pressing before it opens up.

I though the problem was maybe due to overheating but I made sure my PC would not get to hot and the problem still was present.

If you have any idea of what could be wrong please let me know.

    Thanks for your help

By crashing do you mean the power justs cuts off? Or does the computer freeze?

It certainly sounds like a heat issue. Have you cleaned the fan on your graphics card and verified that it is working?

Do you have problems when you are not playing games or videos?

I would first suspect the graphics card. Do you have another that you can try?

Another possibility is a failing PSU. You can get an inexpensive tester to check that out:
