Had the printer one week...worked fine till last night...I had it set to print in portrait and it will only print in landscape and very small fonts.

Reinstall the HP printer drivers/software. It's been my experience with HP printers, scanners, All In One, etc, that the software is fairly easily scrambled somehow. Also check the HP site for any "hotfixes" or patches for your model.
