I have just bought a Nikon Coolpix P2 wi-fi camera to use with my wireless XP laptop as a direct link and not through a router. I followed the installation instructions to the letter but the camera refuses to acknowledge the link after the whole process.

I have tried Nikon helpline but they just referred me to a FAQ on their website.

The wireless camera utility programme seems to work ok, recognised the plugged in camera and sets up a profile but when disconnected and turned on the camera just says no wireless link found.

I really need to go through the process step by step with someone.

Any suggestions ?
