i have a dell inspiron 9300 and for some reason or other my internal speakers have stopped working. However headphones work fine, i have checked all the usual things prperties settings etc and i dont get it. Dell have told me it needs a new set of speakers and a motherboard however this doesnt make sense since it was working fine in the morning and only stopped working on the restart. My only idea is that since i plugged in headphones halfway through the restart it has overridden my speakers permanently somehow? Please advise
