Ok i just barly got my new pc put together and i start it up and it goes and it shows my prossesor speed and my amount of ram and says hit f8 for bbs popup or hit del to run setup, but when i hit either of em it says its startin them but then its like it freezes or somethin. PLZ SOMEONE HELP ME! ! ! ! !

We will need a little bit more information.

Windows version?
Did you have your computer built at a shop? If the answer is yes take it back to the shop and demand they fix it.
Make and model of computer?

i custom built it my self, no windows is on it,it is a asus a7v880 motherboard, asus cd rom, and a samsung hd. thats about all i know at the moment.

Disconnect the mains power. Open the case and remove the battery from the motherboard (it's a little round silver "coin type" battery. After 5 minutes, put the battery back in, stick the cover back on the case and power up again. Can you press Delete and get into the BIOS (setup screen) now?

I did as you said, and when i hit the del key it just said entering setup, and it just like freezes.....

does your hd have to be working in order to go into bios?

No but, if you're having trouble getting into the BIOS, it would be worth disconnecting the drives in case they are causing some kind of weird conflict.
