can anyone help me out please, i installed 2 new burners a while back and since then i have had no sound on my speakers. i cant see how the 2 are related. anyway i am still getting static noise when i plug and unplug the jack into the sound card so i realy dunno whats happening.

Reloading the drivers is the best bet for a first try.

The manufacturer of the card should have them on their web site.
