I have a problem with the laptop I bought recently from MESH Computers. It has developed a screen problem that only shows up on the built in screen, not any slave screen that is plugged into it. The computer has been back to MESH 3 times to be fixed but they cannot fix it. Now when the system is booted up even before Windows XP is fully running the poor screen condition is clear as there are lines and breaks in the boot up lettering. When Windows XP DOES boot up, the screen lacks definition, the colours are "wrong" (ie what should be blue is mauve etc) and again lettering etc is not clear. I have tried to reset the refresh rate, but I have no other option than 60Hz via Windows XP. I would appreciate your help in determining what is wrong as I have little confidence that MESH can sort this out. At first this probem was intermittent, but now it happens everytime. So far, MESH have replaced the cable to the screen unit and have reseated some (unspecified) components.

how old is the laptop, was it new or refurbished, it is under warrenty?
