    Dual Screen problems

Hi, I have recently put two different graphics cards inside my computer (along with my AGP one) to try and get dual-screen. These are both quite old PCI cards. The first did work but turned my extra screen yellow! I decided I wouldn't use that one. The second does not work in Windows (Xp pro). When i try to install it, i know i have the right drivers, but when i try and activate the extra one, the error comes up as "code 10 - the device cannot start".

if i go into bios and change the init display first to PCI, then the same thing happens but on the other screen! windows says it cannot start the AGP card! the two displays just don't want to work at the same time. I think that i may need to assign irq's or something.

Anyway, does anyone know of a way to make them both work at the same time?

i dont think windows will allow you to use 2 seperate graphics cards at the same time, you will need something like this:
    http://www.dabs.com/productview.aspx...2+HDDB15+Femal

this will display exactly the same on both screens, is that hat you want?

    Hope this helps

no, i know for a fact that it will, loads of people have done it! i did it with one of my pci cards, but something was wrong with the card, turning the screen yellow. however, i was able to use full dualscreen then. i want to be able to use the extra space, not mirror the first monitor. i could do that aswell if i got the extra pci working. (not that i want to)

oh right, i thaught windows only allowed one video card working at the same time

when i was using 2 sound cards, i hasd to keep swapping between them (i could use one for recording and one for playing but i couldnt play (or record) using both at the same time)
